I must point out an interesting application put online by the World Economic Forum. Not everything that comes from these large international agencies is bad (well, almost everything) and this is just an exception. This is a map that focuses on the main global risks for 2013. Divided between the other type of risk, macro for stakeholders, you can interact and get to know what lies ahead in the new year according to the WEF.
Using the categories of risk the one that appears at the top of the chart is the first place as a probability: Major systemic financial failure or systemic important financial failure. Obviously we are still on the brink of the globally famous abyss, particularly in Europe. Even in subsequent positions shine financial risks such as chronic fiscal imbalances and Extreme volatility in the prices of agriculture and energy.
But the financial problem goes hand in hand with the environment and this is in fact the green dots: Failure of adaptation to climate change and growth of greenhouse gas emissions. This should not be underestimated. Then there’s the crisis of the water supply and its importance in South America and Asia and the Crisis of the lack of food.
